In-Person Workshop
Why is imagination in leadership important? Imagination sparks a world of possibility; allowing a leader’s capacity for connection, collaboration, and cooperation to flourish. This experiential learning session is for leaders who desire greater impact in their work and wish to move away from stagnant ways of thinking. Facilitators will guide participants through interactive activities including LEGO® Serious Play®, a powerful tool that combines visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles into one uniquely creative and powerful approach. Participants will awaken a greater understanding of their leadership possibilities and potential for impacting their community.
Learning Objectives
- Power of metaphors and aspirational language
- Simplexity® Methodology key tools: divergent and convergent thinking; deferral of judgment; and aspirational language
- Plan to incorporate imagination in their daily work

About Our FacilitatorS
Stephanie Wilson
Leveraging both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ball State University with broad and diverse experiences, Mrs. Wilson eagerly connects those who cross her path with resources for their success. As a passionate idea generator, she loves to create order out of ambiguous situations. She is especially joyful when she can creates spaces that allow individuals’ ideas to flourish. Currently, Stephanie serves as the Assistant Director and Career Coach for the Ball State University Career Center and is on the board of directors for the Muncie Symphony Orchestra.
Stephanie loves to build. She has built academic and non-credit programs; university off-site centers; infrastructure; and teams. She is currently building my own consultancy Bridlewood Crossings, implementing innovative growth through the dynamic interactions between horses and humans, as they each work within their areas of strength to develop sustainable growth.
An avid gardener and equestrian, both infuse the power of connection in her life. She and her husband, Jay enjoy time with their ever evolving menagerie: Jackie and Arrow, beloved miniature donkeys; three horses, Pebbles, Gerry and Grace; five precious ponies, Ainsley, Geno, Bucky, Jesse and Shelby; and sweet burros, Shrek, Tikki and Torch.
