What does it mean to be vulnerable as a leader? Being vulnerable implies the courage to be yourself instead of projecting a specific image or persona. This is the key to building trust and bonds with your team, and requires a shift in mindset. This authenticity enables closer connections, a more involved and invested team, and inclusivity. Learn strategies to lead with vulnerability and authenticity, and overcome your fear of showing what is traditionally considered a ‘weakness’.

Laura Holt is a queer career coach and leadership consultant who has led workshops and talks about DEI for the past 5 years. She has led multiple LGBTQ+ ERG groups and worked on HR teams for 4 years. She leads and teaches with empathy and vulnerability.
